unknown man

I dreamt of a man. A old man. He was wearing torn, dirty clothes and looked like a beggar. His hair was really dark and was about shoulder length. It was greasy, as if he's never had a bath for ages. He was thin and his skin was dark with dirt in it. I've never seen this man before. He's no ordinary man. He has Godly powers.

He was walking back and forth in front of our gates and I noticed him. He looked suspicious so I kept an eye on him. Next thing I know is he's inside our house. Standing by the gates. I asked him who he was and he replied with a "You'll know soon enough" So I just stood there wondering. Then next scene was that he is already inside our living room. I was shocked and wondered who let him in. Then my mother came out of her room and said "Oh hey, how are you? It's been a while." I asked her how and why she knows him and she just said "He's someone I know from the past." I asked her who he was and my mum said "Don't worry, you'll know soon." So I kept wondering. I was thinking that it was too suspicious why they know each other and none of them wanted to tell me who the man was. Amidst the wondering, I've realised that the man wasn't ordinary. He has powers. He performed magic and it caught my attention. I was so amazed. Without a doubt I immediately thought that he's God. Or something. I dunno how I came to that conclusion in my dream but I was positive he was God.

The next scene is that he's sitting at the step of the stairs leading inside our house. He asked for some water and I said "sure" But my maid told me not to because we don't know him. I told my maid that it's okay since mum knows him and he's thirsty. The water dispenser was close to the door so I went and got him water. During this time, tiny details like the glass I used was easy to spot. The glass was that octagon shaped glass we had. I remember making sure that he drinks the nicest, tastiest and coldest water he's ever had. I gave him the glass of water but upon giving it to him, his hand slipped and the glass broke. I said "oh no, that's such a waste. And the glass broke too." Then he said to me "It's okay." And put his right hand over the broken glass. I knew he was going to use his powers to fix the glass, but it took quite a while and I told him that it must be because I was staring while he's doing it. Then he said "Don't worry, it'll be fixed in no time." And it was. With water in it. Made me a little happy that he could drink now.

The next scene. He was sitting next to our other door. The one where the rabbits are usually placed. And he asked if we had any spare shoes because he said his feet is sore from all the walking he's been doing. I ran to our shoe closet and grabbed an old pair of shoes I had. I gave it to him but it didn't fit. His feet were really big and wide. Really wide. But I thought that it must be because he's a man. I told him to try folding the end of the shoe and make it into a slipper-like thing. Then I ran over to the shoe closet and looked for some old pair of shoes that my cousin used to wear. But there was none. Actually, to be honest, there was a pair of shoes that was big, but that was dad's. I only remembered now. I couldn't give it to him because I was still holding onto his memory. So I ran back to him and said, there aren't any shoes that fit you, that's the only one I've got. Then he said that my old pair of shoes was fine since he was desperate. And then, like usual, another dream came.

It was of the same setting. Actually, this dream came before this mysterious man. There were two pregnant women. One already gave birth and I don't know her. And the other, my former classmate in one subject, about to give birth. It seems that the woman I don't know had something to do with one of our family friends Because my God-mother's son was there sitting at our garage. I let him in and told him to eat up 'cause he's waiting for his parents to pick him up. Minutes later, they came and said that I shouldn't have bothered. But I said that it was my pleasure since we know each other. And there came the mysterious man.

Through-out my dream, I felt like the unknown man was trustworthy. It wasn't like some other dream where he's kind to you and then after all your kindness, he tricks you and turns out to be evil. No, it wasn't like that at all. It was really peaceful. In the end, he never did say who he was. But I'll keep that "You'll know soon enough" bit both him and mum told me.

Dad is mad

December 6th, 2010, I was supposed to write a blog about my dad. He was angry in my dream. Even to the point where when we talk about our half-brother, he goes much much angry.

Now, I had a dream about him last night. He was mad again. I don't know why, but he just suddenly went to my room with mum and looked at the drawings that were posted on my wall (I drew some of them) and then he went on with how he doesn't like my style of drawing and that I should take all the posters down. He started pulling a poster but I stopped him. Then he went to the living room and told mum (who was still in my room) to take the posters down for him. I was so mad because those drawings were a product of my childhood. I was so proud of them. How dare he say that he doesn't like my style and just pull them out? I told my mum that she shouldn't pull them out because without them, I wouldn't be inspired.

Then it changed channels and it was some sort of hide and seek thing. Only that there were someone after the kid that we were with and we were doing our best to hide him.

Then I woke up and wondered about the dream about dad. It's weird 'cause he doesn't really care about the drawings that I've been doing when I was young. he didn't mind that I drew and posted pictures on my walls. That dream was kinda scary...

I thought that the last dream I had of him was the one last December 6th. But it turns out that it wasn't. This is the second time I dreamt of dad being so angry. I wonder why...

Storms, tornado then ninja mode

The other day I dreamt about storms and tornado. It's pretty scary. When the tornado pulled away our house, I literally felt that we were floating. Though we weren't really swept away completely as it was more like a STRONG wind rather than a twisting tornado itself. But the the height that it took us was tremendously scary. I looked for meanings of my dreams and I found it pretty interesting.

Storm
To see a storm in your dream, signifies some overwhelming struggle, shock, loss or catastrophe in your waking life. The storm also represents unexpressed fears or emotions, such as anger, rage, turmoil, etc. On a more positive note, the storm symbolizes your rising spirituality. It may signal rapid changes ahead for you.

To dream that you take cover in a storm, foretells that whatever disturbance or problems is occurring in your life will quickly blow over. Consider also the phrase "weather the storm", which refers to your ability and strength to withstand whatever comes.

Tornados
To see a tornado in your dream, suggests that you are experiencing some extreme emotional outbursts and temper tantrums. Is there a situation or relationship in your life that may be potentially destructive?

To dream that you are in a tornado, means that you are feeling overwhelmed and out of control. Your plans will be filled with much complications and you will be met with a series of disappointments.

To see several tornadoes in your dream, represent people around you who are prone to violent outbursts and shifting mood swings. It may also symbolize a volatile situation or relationship.

So I guess I would be pretty disappointed these coming days. I HAVE been making plans the past few weeks and well, if my dream says that I will meet a series of disappointments, then I better start expecting less.

Now, the ninja mode thing takes a lot of effort to write. And right now, I'm pretty lazy, so I'll gather up my thoughts and when I finally collected all of what was in the dream, I would write it up here.

Reading within a dream

Okay, so I have been reading about dreams and lucid dreams. Then I saw something about "purportedly reading in lucid dreams is often difficult or impossible"

I was thinking that it's not really impossible. Difficult at times, but I've had several dreams wherein I was reading something. Like in a dream I recently had about my cousin leaving our house. Before she left, she went to my room to say her goodbyes (she left pretty early so I was still asleep) then I told her to take care. Then this continued in dream form where I saw that she gave me something (a burrito in a stick as far as I remember). I only chuckled at her weirdness that time. But I let it pass because she is kinda weird. Then I went downstairs after waking up, ate my burrito and saw something in a wall that looked like a message. It was written in very big fonts. It was very difficult for me to read the words. I even repeated it twice or thrice. My problem is that when I woke up (in reality) I had a hard time remembering what she wrote. That is what I find most difficult of all. Reading is actually fairly easy, but remembering after waking up is hard. I also dreamt of certain numbers before. This was because I craved for my crush's number but I didn't want to ask him because that would be too obvious and we actually went to different schools.

I guess, too much thinking about getting his number has lead me to dream about it. I dreamt of too many numbers a lot of times. This was on different days. Despite me reading and remembering the numbers in my dreams, the moment I woke up, I can only remember 2 or 3. So I took this as a "one by one" process of getting his number. Each time I dreamt of numbers, I write down what I can remember and voila! Then again, I never reached the 11 digits that composed of the number. So in the end, I never got it. Years later, when I was already in college, I went to the mall and ordered some food in Mcdonald's. I saw my former (the same person) crush and it happened that he asked my number. I got his so there, dream come true. It's just that, I didn't have a thing for him anymore that time so it wasn't much help. Lol.

Dreaming in a dream or false awakening

This isn't exactly a recent dream. I think it was a year ago that I dreamt this. I probably have posted a blog about this, but I'm not so sure. A while ago, my youngest sister and I were talking about psychology. She said that her final decision for her college course would be Psychology. I'm not really against that because that is her own decision and plus, Psych is awesome. So then we talked about how Psychology will tackle dreams. And I remembered mine.

Before, I had a dream that I had a dream. It's really confusing. I also forgot the whole point/story in my dream. The only thing I remember is that I woke up, chilled in our living room. Then I told my sister that I had a dream and told the whole story to her. Then a few minutes later, I woke up. For real this time. And I was thinking "whoa! That dream felt really real. I thought that I already woke up. I even went on with my daily routine and stuff." It's kinda scary, having a dream like that. If I failed to wake up, I would have thought that the reality in that dream of mine is the real reality. I would've spent my daily life there in a weird way.

After I ate and did some stuff, I went and chilled in the living room just like how I did in my dream. It happened that my sister was also there. Then I remembered my dream and told her. It was like de javu. The exact thing repeated. I just thought of it as a way of telling the future. I guess.

Driver

When our mum left, she hired someone we trust enough to be our driver. Now, of course, he is only human. Sometimes, his actions irritate me, but because he's just human I just let it slip. This wasn't very smart of me to do so. But you know, I don't want to hurt his feelings as sometimes I go overboard with this stuff.

And thus, all those feelings kept inside me, appeared in a dream. It's always like this for me. If there's something that bothers me and for some reason, I can't say it out loud, it appears in my dreams to haunt me forever.

And so, my dream. It seems that our driver had gone overboard with the things that he's been doing. To the point that he follows us, or stalks us, or tells us what to do. I didn't like it. It irritated me too much. But still, in my dream I didn't burst out on him. That's heartless of me if I did.

That's about it. There were some other dream but I still need to recall everything. I can only recall winning a contest and the price was this awesome "branded" bag that transforms into a luggage. It was actually pretty.

Elementary school

What's up dreamers? Me, nothing much, except that I just had a dream lately and it's been ages since I last posted.

To start off, my dream is about my elementary school. It wasn't supposed to be weird or anything, but dreaming about it for the second time, has been kinda, mind bugging.

My dream was like this. I was in my elementary school and there was a class or something. It wasn't a gathering because the students are mostly from college. I remember the classroom well. It was my 2nd and 3rd grade classroom, the one in front of the computer room which is beside the staircase. The boy's bathroom was beside my classroom and the girl's bathroom was in front of it. Which is beside the computer room. Wow, I still remember.

So, we were in a class. It was kind of a self-study moment as there wasn't any lecture going on. As I've said, most people there are from college or just random people I've never met in my life. I felt like peeing, so I excused myself. I went to the little girl's room. Oddly, this is the second time I've had a dream that involved that corridor. I was worried that over the years, the school's bathroom might not have been taken care of properly, and in my dream, it wasn't. Most of the toilets were very dirty, to the point that I don't want to sit while I pee anymore. I just stood. It was the same with my first dream about my elementary school. Except that, the toilet cubicle I was using was the one diagonal to the one that I was using in this dream. My college friend also went inside to pee. She called me to check if I was there. And I answered. I finished peeing and told her that I will go. As I left, my high school friends, who happen to be boys, were in front of the boys bathroom. I said "hey long time no see!" The smiled and waved at me. There were three of them there that I knew. But in reality, I only have two close guy friends back in high school. So who was the other one?

I went back to the classroom and asked what had happened when I was away. A guy (who I happen to see a lot in college) said that there was nothing much. I had this feeling of dissatisfaction when I left the bathroom. I already finished peeing but I still felt like I haven't peed yet. Like, there's still more left, but there isn't anything coming out anymore before I left.

Then I woke up. I felt like peeing. It was your normal pee after waking up moment. No wonder I felt like still peeing after I already had in my dream. It's because in reality, I haven't done it yet.

Then thoughts like, "wow, another dream about the school" and "Who the fuck is that other guy I said hi to?" cam about in my head. The school's mood seemed a little dark. But I thought that it's almost the same in every dream I had. Though the darkness wasn't just grey or something. It was green. A very dull green. I also saw some white tones in it.
